These terms cover purchases from Bay Shore Relics LLC ("we", "us") at bayshorerelicsllc.com. By placing an order, you agree to them. If you buy as a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, those protections apply on top of these terms and nothing here limits them.

Second-hand, sold one at a time
Bay Shore Relics LLC is a second-hand store. Every slide we sell is a single physical item — sold once and never restocked. We don't make reproductions, but we can't guarantee a slide's history either: some slides may be duplicates or reproductions made by others, and provenance is unknown. If that matters to you, please ask us before you buy — and remember every order is covered by our 14-day returns.
The first buyer to complete PayPal checkout gets the item. In the rare case that two buyers check out with the same slide at nearly the same moment, the second order is cancelled and refunded in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed securely by PayPal through our checkout; we never see or store your card or bank details. Your order is confirmed when PayPal confirms your payment to us. From time to time we may offer promotional codes — each promotion's own terms (eligible items, expiry) apply on top of these terms.
Shipping
Shipping is figured from your delivery address at checkout — one flat USPS charge per order, no matter how many slides you buy. US orders ship USPS Ground Advantage; international orders ship USPS First-Class Package International. Current rates and delivery estimates are on the Shipping & Policies page.
Wisconsin sales tax
Orders shipping to a Wisconsin address are charged Wisconsin state and local sales tax, figured from your delivery ZIP code. Orders shipping elsewhere in the US are not charged sales tax at this time.
International orders
Duties, VAT/GST, and customs charges are not included in your checkout total and can't be figured in advance — they are your responsibility and may be collected by your local customs office or carrier on delivery. See Shipping & Policies for details.
Returns and refunds
If you're not happy with your slide for any reason, return it within 14 days of delivery for a full refund — return shipping is on us. Full details are on the Returns & Refunds page.
EU/UK buyers — your statutory right of withdrawal: you may cancel for any reason within 14 days of receiving your slides. To exercise it, just tell us clearly (for example via the contact form) before the 14 days expire — no form required. We'll refund everything you paid, including the outbound shipping, within 14 days of your cancellation notice (we may wait until the slides arrive back or you show proof of return). Return shipping is on us.
Accuracy
We describe every slide — railroad, location, date, condition — as accurately as we can from the slide and its mount, but vintage material is sometimes marked ambiguously. If anything about a listing is unclear, ask us before you buy.
Our content
Listing photos, descriptions, and site text are ours (or used with permission). You're welcome to share links to our listings; please don't republish our photos or copy without asking.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the shop: no scraping listings at abusive rates, no interfering with checkout, and no placing orders you don't intend to pay for.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, including EU/UK consumer rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin — except that EU/UK consumers may also bring claims in their home courts as their local law allows.
Changes
We may update these terms as the shop grows. The version posted here at the time of your order applies to that order; material changes will be noted on this page for at least 30 days.
